Word of Advice for newly engaged couples-I implore you to get premarital counseling, after a few sessions and you feel that the person is the one, set your date. It is important to plan, and plan effectively. Have a budget, stick to it, shop around, ask for discounts or deals, check the quality of vendors work. Book your venue early. Know the areas you want to splurge on and areas you want save on.
How we met?
We met in 2006, at a hotel where I was doing my internship. A manager had introduced him to me. While working under his tutelage, we became friends, and it blossomed from there.
Most unforgettable moments on wedding day:
On the day, it drizzled on and off. Persons called saying they were praying for the weather. We had an outdoor ceremony. Hence, I was a bit nervous. However, three persons called and confirmed that God would work it out. It showered heavily at three in the afternoon. However, after that shower it was beautiful and cool, as it was in Jamaica.
The ceremony- it was an interesting one, as the pastor made it feel so special, and I wasn’t nervous.
The ceremony-holding my hubby’s hand, looking into his eyes, his smile.
We had a popular entertainer, Noddy Virtue and other entertainers, including a saxophonist. The entertainment was unforgettable.

Bridal Gown style- an unusual dress, something different, reflected my unique personality, with a flair. It was designed by Tony Bowl.
Wedding hairstyle and makeup:
Wow, my hairstyle was an up do, with a sophisticated bun by Gail. My hair was blow dried and flat twisted, with Expression hair braids. It was decorated with lovely hairpins with pearls. My makeup was flawlessly done by Arlene Munroe. The products used were Seal and Shine, and Crème de la Crème by Ettenio. These products are great. She also used Ecostyler gel and Spritz to hold. I asked a coworker to help me narrow down some hairstyles for natural hair. She did, I shortlisted a few and did trials with them. However, this was the winning hairstyle.
