Bethesda Christian Fellowship was blessed with a beautiful wedding on October 1st. Andre Brown of AndreBrown Photo captured Shacola and Rafael’s commitment to become one in the presence of their closest family and friends.
These two showcased the most natural love in every way. Shacola gorgeous curls are side swept with a touch of honey blonde highlight bringing a bit of sass to her wedding style that we love! Her husband has freshly knotted locs.

Share the best wedding advice you can give to an engaged couple:
To elope lol. No but seriously to do the best you can and make sure you have people in your corner that has you and the grooms interest at heart and will do what it takes to make sure the day goes well for the both of you.
Tell us how you met and the proposal:
Manny and I knew about each other in high school. We didn’t officially meet until our senior year in high school, the same year we started dating. Manny proposed on a random Saturday in a picnic area near the Beaufort Waterfront Park. It was very private and very secluded it was just the 2 of us. We had a little picnic and then got both knees and asked me to marry him.
Describe your wedding dress. Who was the designer and share your dress shopping experience?
My wedding gown was a fitted mermaid style by MoriLee Bridal bought at Anya Bridal in Atlanta,GA. The dress was a white sweetheart neckline with roushing through out. The dress had beading and rhinestones surrounding the neckline and down the center stopping at the flare of the gown going all the way around. Dress shopping was a bit stressful because I needed to find a dress because I was running out of time. I was accompanied by my mother, aunt, maid and matron of honor.
