Beautiful Florida Beach Engagement

Photographer Terria of TerriaClay.com shares:

Talia and Charles met as students during their time at the University of Miami.  They became fast friends and began dating after graduation. They’ve now been happily married a bit over a year and were an absolute delight to shoot for their sunset engagement session on the Florida beach.

Wedding  Style: Second Day Wash N Go

Morning the day before the wedding:

Co-wash: Aussie Moist Conditioner

Detangle: Kinky-Curly Knot Today Leave In Conditioner/Detangler

Style: Homemade Shea Butter Mix (Adapted from Naptural85’s Recipe: Raw Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Jojoba Oil,  Olive Oil, Castor Oil, contents of a Vitamin E Capsule) and Eco Styler Krystal Styling Gel

I worked with small sections and started in the back. Making sure each small section was wet (but not dripping) and thoroughly detangled, I smoothed in a little Homemade Shea Butter Mix to my curls. Then, I coated the section in a moderate amount of Eco Styler Krystal Styling Gel , being sure to focus on the roots. After repeating the process on my entire head, I let my hair air dry all day. That night, I gently covered my hair with a satin scarf.

Wedding Morning:

I removed the scarf. I shook out my hair and fluffed up my semi-compacted curls with my fingers. In five to ten minutes I was good to go.
